The journey to reach the community began with a thought and heartfelt connection to cars. Strictly Vettes of Memphis was founded by Maurice Woodard in August 2008, and very quickly endeavored to become the image of giving, sharing, and building a community one neighborhood at a time. Having developed a plan to unify cars and charity, Strictly Vettes of Memphis is all about cars and giving. Cars that are a conduit to mentoring young people who desperately need a re-evaluation of the representation of wealth. Strictly Vettes of Memphis is echoing the foundations that drug dealing and criminal activities is not the way to live a productive life. There must be an emphasis on hard work and education as a means of success.

  Members of Strictly Vettes consistently donate their time, energy and resources to local schools, food banks, hospitals and community centers to improve the quality of life of those in need. Strictly Vettes strives to leave a legacy of goodwill and charity for other car clubs to emulate, using a proven formula of combining cars, strong character, shared resources and collaboration.

  With community activities as a primary goal, Strictly Vettes is unifying areas of Memphis through cook-outs, community engagements, and advocacy. These efforts are bringing self- confidence and self-awareness to young boys and girls and promoting good health within the African American community. Strictly Vettes promotes a brilliant enrichment program by taking America's favorite sports car and creating a model that fosters self-determination and charitable compassion. Through the sustained efforts of creating strong partnerships with other Corvette & non Corvette Clubs, corporate leaders, and community organizations, Strictly Vettes has touched thousands of lives.  Always involved, engaged, and determined, this club has captured the true essence of leadership behind the wheel. Strictly Vettes has established a lane of its very own and branded a lifestyle of leadership through Corvettes.
